Love the old school license plates and decor! My BBQ sandwich was wonderful and this half rack of ribs had more meat than most places have in a full rack! The sauces are all wonderful and i usually don't like the vinegar based ones. Bbq soooo juicy... oh. My. Goodness! Just like it should be!

We had fried flounder and baked Mahi Mahi plates. Excellent. The portions were big. The fish was super. Very satisfied. Definitely recommend.

The cooks at Carolina Bar-be-que always serve great food. I usually get the bar-be-que, but my sister gets the catfish. Everything I have had there has been delicious. We also get their home-made pig skins.

What a great experience of true American barbecue (from my eyes) I hope my assumption is right. Never have been able to eat BBQ because of the heaviness of it and taste but this place I tried the chicken and green beans which were both really nicely done, not too dry, and tasted like real chicken. The green beans had a nice taste with some meat in it... a little soft but I think that was the style . The people serving were really nice and patient despite my indecisiveness and no knowledge of the food. I would come back here for the chicken and green beans and ice tea which tastes like real tea that was properly brewed.

Excellent BBQ, and the most friendly and fantastic staff ever! I always look for local places to eat when I'm away from home, and this one was a home run! The combo plate for lunch was wonderful! The flavor of the pulled pork and smoked chicken was on point, and their hush puppies are definitely the best I've ever had! Don't forget the Maddog sauce on the side, you will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful place to stop for lunch . The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Hush puppies were soft and pillowy. Fried okra spot on - crisp on outside yet perfectly cooked. I ordered popcorn shrimp and it was incredible. Generous portions served with a smile. Would definitely eat here again!

One of the best BBQ on the East coast! We drive over 100 miles to sample.. Beautiful trip ! Now the bad part.. the potato salad is hard.. it's almost like raw potatoes.. but now, the baked beans! Oh my goodness yummy! The ribs are spot on! Over all I give this place is A 9.8.

This was an unanticipated stop, since I was passing through the area, but it did not disappoint. There was plenty of parking for lunch. The inside had a homey bbq feel with red and white checkered table clothes and cute pig wall decor and signs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The pulled pork was excellent, moist and had a slight (but not overwhelming) hint of smoke. They keep three bbq selections at the table (sweet, mad dog- spicy, and Lexington- vinegar) along with other condiments. The hush puppies had a very delicious corn and honey flavor..moist on the inside and golden brown on the outside. I would recommend the hog fries they were delicious and could be a meal of their own. The catfish wasn’t super crispy but very fresh and not fishy at all.. I’d recommend it as well. Overall it as a great experience. All the sides were great! This is a hidden gem!!
